CFast Cards

CFast cards are based on the Serial ATA interface (SATA). These cards have begun to be used in the industrial market. Camera makers have not started supporting CFast cards.

CFast cards are electrically compatible with SATA-IO compliant products, but have CompactFlash specified connectors and shape.

Compliant CFast cards are tested for interoperability by test labs accredited by both CompactFlash and SATA-IO. Such cards display this logo.
